AgriScience for the Smitty Kids!

Our Spring/ Summer Science project and homeschool classes will be about Gardening, Seed types, Seasons, Planting, Caring and Harvesting. Then if our end result is good some cooking from our own garden!!!

Spring Break Day 2

We began the day with a nice walk/ bike ride and then we hit the park. We all did the fitness park and then off to play on the swings. It hit the 80's yesterday and it was mostly sunny and beautiful out. We went shopping at 1/2 price books and then home to wake up Steve.

We took the kids to Chuck E Cheese and they had a blast. Madison and I won the most tickets 405. Whe Got a Disney Princess Figure and a Bracelet the Boys loaded up on candy and foam rockets and Steve and I got to play some Games. A great family day!

Today we are going up to the lake to do some fishing and spend the night camping. Then On sunday we are off to the Rodeo to see Jason Aldean !! and then hubby and I are going with my mom and dad to lake charles to do some gambling.

Trenton will probably recieve his birthday present A little early. We got him a Dell lap top for his birthday!

Off to the adventure known as life :D

Sping is in the air!!

The kids are off for Spring Break so we took them down to the Beach in Galveston Yesterday and they had a blast. We saw a million Jelly fish and this was our 1st time to park by the sea wall instead of the beach. It is different then florida and I really miss the beaches but it was nice to get my feel back in the sand. We bought new sand toys and I made a turtle family. the boys made castles and Madison made..... a mess LOL !

Last night hubby and I went to the rodeo . it was awesome, Reliant Stadium is huge but all the seat were great. All but 1 Cow Boy got bucked off the bulls . My favorite is the Mutton Bustin with the little 5 and 6 year olds. Last night a little girl one and she held on the whole time. All the kids get buckles and awards but she did an extra good job!! After the rodeo we got to see Zac Brown Band and they did a great job. Nothing fancy just a great performance and they sound better live then on the radio. It was an exciting day for all of us :)!

Battle Ship Texas!!

We went with the cub scouts to spend the night on Battle Ship Texas. We had a great time. John won a treasure hunt so he was allowed to be the Deck Captin and got a special award. The tour allowed us to see "restricted" area like the Captins Quarters and inside the big guns. We had a great time and the boys learned alot . (I did too)

Jump Rope For Heart !!

John came home from school with a story about a little boy in his class. The boy was born with a heart condition and had 3 open heart surgeries in the first years of his life. It was an amazing story to read and john Wanted to help so we are helping.
